My laptop is crap. Somehow I hit a button wrong and all of my sub tabs (categories) are at the top of the screen, instead of the side bar. Any idea how to change it back?

Hi Anellah, could you show us a screenshot so we can better understand what's happened?

Sorry about the delay. As you can see. Everything that would normally be along the side is now on the top. It's very hard to navigate. I have no idea what I did. i just know it only does it on my laptop. It doesn't do it on any other computer I use.

Hi Anellah,
It looks like you're viewing the mobile version of the site, even though you're on a laptop. Are you on a Chromebook? If so, can you see if there are three vertical dots towards the top right hand corner - click them and a dropdown menu should appear where it says 'Desktop Site' somehwere towards the bottom of the list, with a checkbox beside it. If that is unchecked, can you check the box and see if that works?

I don't see the three dots in the The Novel Factory section of my screen. I see three dots in my chrome brower. Is what you mean? Because that doesn't have a desktop option.

Hi Anellah, Apologies, yes, I meant the three dots menu in the Chrome browser, but wasn't very clear about that. We're 99% sure the issue is that your Chrome browser has been set to view the site in mobile version instead of desktop, but as we don't have the same set up as you, it's a bit tricky to find out exactly how to turn that setting off.
I've found this, which might help: https://superuser.com/questions/1214829/how-can-i-view-the-mobile-version-of-a-webpage-in-google-chrome-for-desktop
Although it's telling you how to get to mobile view, it should work the same to reverse it.
The instrutions look complicated, but essentially all you should need to do is click F12, then find the little button that looks like a mobile standing in front of a laptop, and click that.
Can you let me know if that helps at all?
