Would someone please explain why the Scenes listed on the Scenes Tab change color from white to lavender whenever data is entered into a Scene Detail page and the page is closed.

Hi iGregor - yes! The last closed scene is shown in lavender as a kind of 'bookmark' so you can see where you were last working.
