Exciting news!

We have just finished putting together a Novel Factory Desktop online help manual.

You can find it here: http://help.novel-software.com

If any of you esteemed Novel Factory users have a moment to look it over and give us your feedback, we would be very grateful.

It would be particularly good to know if you spot anything which is not as clear as it could be, or if you can think of any functions / features / sections that we haven't added yet, that you'd like to see.

We are hoping people will give us feedback on an ongoing basis if they spot any errors or omissions.

“It's extremely useful in organizing and making me think about what I write. The advice was invaluable, and the step-by-step instructions guided me extremely well through the writing process, allowing me to develop characters and plot a lot further than expected.” - See more at: http://www.novel-software.com/writingsoftwaretestimonials.aspx#sthash.0smYiFBM.dpuf

I would have liked to see information on the story skeleton templates and an explanation of the different character archetypes.

Other than that, it seems a useful reference.

Thanks for replying! Really helpful. I've added both those things to the list of things to add to the manual. In the meantime, just wanted to make sure you know we've got info on all the character archetypes here: https://www.novel-software.com/characterarchetypes

Whilst looking through the manual again, I noticed that one page is titled "Introduction to the Roadmp". The word "roadmap" is missing an "a" in the title, links and filename.

Hi Sas,

The online manual appears to be working when I go to http://help.novel-software.com or https://help.novel-software.com.

Your link appears to have an extra character at the end, so when I click it I get https://help.novel-software.com/%C2%A0/ which says workspace not found.  But the above links should work.

Sorry about the contact form - that was an unrelated technical glitch with our mail server that should be fixed now.
