Hi,

NF specifically states that they do not track content within their product, but I was wondering if actual product usage is tracked? IOW, does NF keep a cumulative track of my login to either or both products on a daily basis? For update automation, if nothing else (although marketing would be interested, too).

Thanks much,
Wyatt

Hi Wyatt,
On the Online version we have quite a lot of data about people's usage of the product, but with the Desktop it's much more limited. We track IP addresses related to logins, in order to make sure people aren't abusing the licence terms. I believe we also track user's last login, so we can see roughly how many people are actively using the desktop software, but it's not data I've actually ever looked at. We don't have data about cumulative usage of the Desktop version.
Does that answer your question?

Yes, thank you. Strange question, right? Every now and then, I mentally lose track of what I was working on (it's some age-related memory problem that is emerging). So I might ask NF when you show my last login was. So far, I am able to laugh about it.

Cheers, Wyatt
