I've noticed that when I create a scene it automatically places it at the beginning of the scene list then I have to move it. This becomes annoying once I have a lot of scenes. Is there a way to change the default so the scene is created at the end of the list rather than the beginning?

Hello, and thanks for your message! What I think you need to do is 'insert' the scene.

You can do that by right-clicking on any scene, then choosing insert scene above or below.

Full detailed instructions are here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwkuyAf6As8

Can you let me know if that helps?
