Greetings,

Love the software, it’s really starting to help me keep better track of what I’m writing and it’s still really early days for me at this point!

Not sure if I’m posting in the right place but here’s a couple suggestions that I’d like to make for 2.X

Import Timeline from Other Software:
I know you’ve stated that you’re working to put in a timeline editor for 2.X but I was wondering if we would be able to import from other timeline software? I use something called “Timeline” (http://thetimelineproj.sourceforge.net/about.html) and I was wondering if importing from this piece of software would be supported? I’ve got an extensive collection of events put together and I’m not really looking forward to re-making almost 200 dates from scratch x)

Used Note Bin:
As I’m going along, the quickly typed notes that I put together are being used up, but with nowhere to place them other than ‘delete’. Would it be possible to have a separate folder/section for used up notes for those of us who don’t want to delete them?

Other than that I don’t have anything to suggest, you’ve done a really good job with this software and I hope I purchased close enough for the free upgrade! ;p

Kind Regards,

Nick.

Nick.

Hi Nick,
Many thanks for your suggestions - they are both great ideas. We'll have a look at this Timeline resource you're using and see what's possible, and I really like you're idea for putting notes into a sort of 'done' folder without actually deleting them. We'll have a think about that and the best way to implement it as well 🙂 Thanks again!

Greetings, once again!

Some more suggestions from myself if you won't mind? 🙂

Tabbed Text:
Is it possible to use the 'Tab' key to push text along for indenting purposes? If it's not then can we have something that helps us do this?

Clip Art:
I have some simple black and white flow diagrams and formulae that I would like to include into the novel, is it possible to insert these with the current version (I can't seem to find a way to do it), but if not can we have this as an added feature in the next version?

Tables:
Would be handy to either be able to recreate tables that I've made in word 😅

Kind Regards,

Nick.

Hi Nick,
Thanks for more great suggestions!
The paragraphs should automatically indent - was there something else you wanted to indent?
We will look into inserting images and tables and see what we can do! This is already on our radar 🙂
Keep the suggestions coming!

Another one from me!

I like that we can see how much progress we're making on a daily basis by having the overall statistics page but whilst we're writing we're not able to see this page as we have to navigate to the Scenes Tab to open one of our documents before we can start editing.

The only way for us to see our progress on 'Word Count Today" is to exit our scene-in-edit and then navigate to the Statistics page. Just for convenience sake, it could be nice to have a "Total Word Count For Today" at the bottom of the scene-in-edit alongside the "Scene Word Count" and "Total Word Count For This Draft". There's plenty of room down their for this little reqeusted feature x)ExampleAdditionWordCountToday.jpg
Thanks for reading!

Hi Nick,
Another great suggestion! At this rate we're going to have to send you a t-shirt or something...
Please do keep giving us your suggestions - we can't always act on everything very quickly but we genuinely do note everything down and we have added features and functionality in the past based on user input!
